What you'll do
We are looking for a student to assist the development of the computing orchestration service for SAP’s Converged Cloud. This presents a unique opportunity to get insight into our custom framework for executing and supervising remote jobs on Linux & Windows operating systems.
Minimum Duration: 6 months

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Sciences
• Computer skills: Hands-on experience with containers, Fluent in the programming language Golang, Ruby and Rails is a plus.
• Language skills: Fluent in English and/or German
• Soft skills: good communication skills, fun working in a multinational team, understanding the dynamics of communication in open-source projects.

The SAP Converged Cloud is a private cloud solution managed by SAP. It is an internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform deployed worldwide in 17 regions to support all of SAP’s cloud businesses on a global scale.

The team offering this position is responsible for a fleet of globally distributed Kubernetes clusters. All software that makes up SAP’s Converged Cloud is hosted on this fleet. We are building services that allow us and our customers to leverage the power of Kubernetes more easily.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
